SOUL'D The Spirit of Soul

Soul’d is the Northern Rivers biggest band featuring twelve of the areas best musicians, including a five piece horn section, three vocalists and the rhythm section to die for! The band is based in Byron Bay the most easterly point in Australia, with one of the sexiest beaches in the world. Byron Bay has one of Australia’s most famous surf breaks “The Pass”, it is a Mecca for back packers, receiving more visitors than any other location in Australia.

Soul’d performs the classics from the Legendary Soul, Motown, Rock, Funk, R & B Artists heard on the Atlantic, Stax, Motown and Savoy Labels of the late 50s,60s,70s, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Sam & Dave, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Temptations, Martha Reeves & Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Contours, Junior Walker and the All-Stars, The Four Tops, Booker T. & The MGs, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, Otis Redding, The Mar-Keys, Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, Earth Wind & Fire & many more. Soul’d also plays selections from Joe Cocker, Chicago, Beatles, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Blues Brothers and Commitments.

Soul’d reproduces the well-known and well loved tunes of an outstanding era in music, combining an exciting mixture of Soul & Motown music that appeals to every age group. Soul’d uses arrangements transcribed and arranged from the original recordings. Soul’d is an ideal band for your next corporate function, private party, birthday party, festival, wedding reception, dinner dance or any other event. 

The band features two female vocalists, a male vocalist, piano, guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone, alto sax, tenor sax & baritone sax, a big sound that needs to be heard to be believed!
